Mural for the city hall of Gràcia in commemoration of the 200 Anniversary of the Festa Major (local festivity). We recover the ancient tradition of decorating the facade of the district headquarters. We want to pay homage to the process and values of decorating streets. To do that we recreated different scenes as a kind of a cartoon strip. Each street committee works on the decorations all year long and place them a week before the proclamation. This is an exemplary fiesta based on self-organization, social cohesion, a transversal approach, solidarity and recycling. Popular art for the people.
