Public space / Reaction project
This mural project began in 2015 with small interventions in the street with a retro-advertising style, giving images to proverbs or popular sayings and reflecting on the use of the public space as the social network that it actually is.
The initiative has evolved looking for the best way to create an image that represents the surroundings where the wall is located. Over time, different cities and towns have opted for this tool that reinforces the identity of each place, shows their aspirations and makes the people who live there visible. Reskate takes advantage of the attraction offered by the large format while making use of a familiar aesthetic that allows them to focus on acidic themes in a timeless and boldly sweet way.
“Reaction project” has led Reskate to paint in Catalonia, France, Valencia, Madrid, Portugal, the Netherlands, Galicia, Cantabria, the Basque Country, Mallorca and Germany.
Reskate also translates the works into screen prints, making reproductions with the intention of ensuring that these ideas continue to be transmitted and expanded.
This project has been exhibited in places such as Casa Elizalde in Barcelona.
