Concept of the artwork
The word “Patxaran” comes from the Basque words “basa” (wild) and “aran” (plum). It refers to the rough and untamed nature of the wild berry used to make this traditional alcoholic drink.

Special Instructions
Do not touch or scratch the photo-luminescent paint as pigment may get dirty and detach. Preferably place the artwork framed with a glass protection on a well illuminated and dry space away from direct sunlight. Once lights are off the photo-luminescent illustration will glow. The physical principle of photo-luminescence is eternal. The duration of the photo-luminescence is equal to that of the paper.
